Training developer Infinite Skills is now offering a tutorial video course dedicated to Adobe Flash Catalyst CS5.5. With 56 separate video lessons, the training series has been designed to cover each major component of the program as it is used within an interactive workflow.

Led by award-winning author and educator Tom Green, the tutorials start with basic Catalyst tools and topics and then progress toward more advanced workflow options and techniques. Early training lessons include subjects such as the Flash Catalyst Interface, Adding Pages and Implementing Basic Interactivity, while later lessons go through Adding External Media, Designing with Data Lists and Options for Publishing.
A major focus of the training is on interactivity with other applications, especially those within the Adobe Creative Suite. Instructor Green looks at importing art from Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash-based SWF files and incorporating them into an active Catalyst project. Instructor Green also demonstrates round-trip editing functionality with Photoshop and Illustrator, in which the user can actively switch between applications to make corrections and adjustments in real time.
